Our recent stay at Portofino Island Resort was truly impressive. The stunning views from our condo and the fantastic amenities made our vacation memorable. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved, particularly with room cleanliness in one unit and the dining experience, which had some room for enhancement.

We stayed in unit 1209, which offered an outstanding view of the bay-perfect for watching fireworks. Unfortunately, we had to switch units due to unpleasant smells in the original room, which complicated our check-in process.

The Portofino offers a wonderful beach experience with stunning white sand and endless recreational options including boogie boards and kayaks right at your doorstep. While the units are spacious and equipped with kitchens, they could use some cleaning attention upon arrival. The dining options nearby were quite limited, and the inconsistent room service detracted from our overall experience. Despite these issues, the location and activities available make it a worthwhile visit.
